What's the fastest internet you can get in your house for less than about 300$ in Raleigh? We had Verizon FiOS in Tampa (30 down/5 up) that ran about 180/mo. Is there anything like that up here?

I was talking to some people from Jackson, TN over the weekend. Apparently Jackson has the largest implementation of fiber to the home in the country. They said that the standard service (10MB down/2MB UP) would run you $50/month.

^^^ I don't think that counts for business class

Over the break a salesperson for att offered me 1gig sym fiber for $15 less per month than Google so I ditched GoogleThen the next day another salesperson offered me 500Mbps spectrum cable bundled with cell phone for $10 more than I was paying for cell service, so I ditched my cell carrierSo I now I have 2 internet connections… picked up this router for $50 and it works great for load balancing:https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1716315-REG/tp_link_er605_v2_er605_multi_wan_wired_vpn.htmlIt’s setup to route all traffic on fiber by default unless fiber is down. And then I can also shunt specific devices or requests to IP addresses over a specific wan, so I have the media players going over spectrum. Feels pretty fancy and easy to setup. I did also look into pfsense on a nuc but my nuc didn’t have enough ram to reliably run pfsense and ram prices are nuts right now.
