I always wondered what these went for.If you charged 350/mo you'd make 16,800/yr. Take you like 8 years to get your money back, assuming little maintenance.

^^ and that's not a good assumption to make, considering that these things are made out of cardboard. Not sure what HOA dues are, but you gotta factor that in. There are TONS of the 4bd/4ba style condos around campus, and $350/month per room is going to be hard to get. You can still profit from buying one of these and renting it out, but there are a lot of them for sale far cheaper than this. Just check MLS.

preiss's rates are at $310 for a 4br. event hat seems steep. it was $250 2 years ago when i moved into a 3br.http://universitycondos.com/rental_rates.php?condo_id=9this one has lots of good upgrades that the preiss units are lacking (like working thermostats)

These condos are always for sale everywhere I look, can't be a good idea to buy one when the market seems to be pretty saturated.Plus the fact that they are horrible apts.

those are not nice apartments & i cannot imagine who would buy it even if extensive work had been done. it's still a shitty place to live next to other shitty buildings with shitty parking, shitty neighbors, shitty shitty shitty shit shit[Edited on May 2, 2007 at 7:22 PM. Reason : ]

1000 sq ft. in driftwood manor, 2 bed, can be had for 55k. Thats probably a better deal, and is alot quieter than u woods.
