11/1/2007 10:05:15 AM
I'll take it. What color? Will it survive the winter outside?
11/1/2007 1:00:08 PM
i think so
11/1/2007 8:18:31 PM
josh when u go to transplant it remember to keep the roots attached, the bush needs it
11/1/2007 8:22:48 PM
will do
11/1/2007 8:39:58 PM
do you still garden alot dnl
11/1/2007 8:43:37 PM
what kind is it?
11/1/2007 10:21:06 PM
mr lincoln
11/1/2007 10:23:24 PM
it'll survive over the winter, just make sure when you get it planted to prune it down to 3 or so of it's main stalks and then mound up some pine bark mulch over the crown
11/1/2007 10:24:06 PM
have pics? my mom is in need of a rose bush because the neighbor's cat killed one and she needs to fill the spot in the yard.
11/1/2007 10:30:20 PM
i think 3 of the 6 tips are dead...i just want it to be somewhere where the roots can thrive and it gets more than 2 hours of sun a day
11/1/2007 10:33:18 PM
I'll take it if no one else wants it
11/1/2007 10:37:29 PM
ok...do you have a pot to put it in? if not i can put it in a pot, but the pot is kinda small(root ball fits into the pot pretty much...hardly any extra dirt
11/1/2007 10:39:02 PM
I can pick one up. I just need something to transport it in because it'll probably be planted over the weekend.
11/1/2007 11:14:20 PM
so like you need a cheap pot?
11/1/2007 11:16:10 PM
I can get one from lowes or something. how big does it need to be to hold the bush and some dirt?I don't know anything about plants
11/1/2007 11:16:56 PM
well i mean if you are just gonna plant it over the weekend, it doesnt even need to be a good pot....i'll just put it in a cheap pot and you can transplant it in a few days
11/1/2007 11:18:17 PM
sounds good to me. pm me where i can pick it up, i'm free tomorrow afternoon after 4pm.
11/1/2007 11:28:13 PM

11/4/2007 5:36:01 PM
^^thats an old pic when it still got a lot of sun...once the trees bloomed it never got any light hardly...3 of the branches dont have any buds on them now...they all died^maybe we can figure something out if miska doesnt get it
11/4/2007 5:39:10 PM
im gonna have some plant cuttings to get rid of in the next few weekssince i have to bring my container plantings in from outdoors and cuttign back makes it easier to control pestsill post pics later im kinda lazy, they are all very healthy and vigorous plants, and most are in vegetative growth phase so the cuttings will root easily and quicklyi just dont want to throw plant material away[Edited on November 4, 2007 at 5:40 PM. 11/4/2007 5:39:45 PM

11/4/2007 5:42:36 PM

11/4/2007 5:45:16 PM

11/4/2007 5:46:11 PM
hey chris do you have any plants that do well with low sunlight?
11/4/2007 5:47:41 PM
haha a majority of them do well with low light, or dont require high light intensity for anything other than maintaining foliage colorwhich isnt important to me reallynah i dont want no grapes, thanks tho, i have no desire to rear them[Edited on November 4, 2007 at 5:49 PM. Reason : x]

5/27/2008 8:48:20 AM
i'll take it. i have a really good spot for it.
5/27/2008 9:06:42 AM
thanks for the bump gunzz...i missed it til now...i just wanted to bump it to announce that i had gotten it back.....it was fairly not healthy but in the past 2 days has really perked up...i give it another 2 or 3 weeks and its in real good shape
5/28/2008 6:57:34 PM
so i get so much sun and its in such a better pot that it almost has a rose on it...i pruned it some
6/4/2008 6:02:48 PM
this is the first ever flower on it...it had once but it died before it bloomed cause it didnt get enough sun...i've had the plant for 1.5 years
6/13/2008 2:11:45 PM
day 2...can see the yellow things...i think its getting too much sun in the hot part of the day cause the outside petals are already wilting
6/14/2008 12:54:48 PM
the blooms don't last very long. only like a day or two. you should prune them off when they look like that^ so new growth will come in.
6/14/2008 12:56:49 PM
only reason i didnt already prune it was cause my neighbor said to leave it...i wanted to prune it for the new growth reason...it hasnt done much in the past week cause of this blossom i think
6/14/2008 1:03:58 PM
you should usually prune a rose off as soon as it opens completely
6/14/2008 1:05:24 PM
