and besides, some companies are having alcohol-less parties just because of the idiots who drink too much and make an ass of themselves and get fired...less trouble to take the juice away

It wasn't work party per say, I was invited to a xmas party at a bar by the bar owner. It was for staff, vendors and contractors.

yes...open bar... every bar Christmas party I have been to has been open... usually bar owners put on decent parties also.

^^^exactly.... thought some of it would have been free or at least heavily discounted. Evidently the free stuff was from 7-9 and we were told to come @ 9..lol
