we are a very progressive company. we think outside the box in my department. we get treats for doing what we are supposed to do. those of us who actually showed up on time today got to go home with no homework. those who didnt had to work from home.

and then the power went off for a while, so i bet the people who had to work from home just started a couple hours ago and will be working till like 9 or 10. HA HA.

I took the week off

my day starts anytime between 6:30am to 9:30am, gotta love the "glinding" schedules...as long as it is between those times(it is usually 8ish for me)

Is it really like an exact time thing down to the minute?

I mean I typically leave around 6 but sometimes I'll be here till 8 and sometimes I'm gone before 4

Except during earnings seasons, I never have to stay longer if I want to bail

it is for me b/c i come in early and i never take a full hour for lunch so when 530 rolls around, im out the door.

that is unless im on a conference call or in a meeting or something like that

My "hours" are from 7:30 to 3:00 but I leave when I get stuff done and sometimes get in early. I don't know how people can just leave right at the time their "hours" are at. I mean I have stuff that needs to get done some days that I can't just put off.

I only have these hours so I can still work near a full week but have time for the 4 grad school night classes I'm taking...

driving or flying home and not getting in til midnight and having to be somewhere first thing in the morning

having to answer my phone no matter when it rings
