the new SAT has a section where you have to copy a paragraph in cursive.


took me forever, i hadn't written cursive since 4th grade.

so i just wrote in cursive for as many letters as i knew how and connected the letters in print.

i never understood cursive anyways. welcome to kindergarten, we're gonna teach you a way to write. flash forward 3 years. welcome to 3rd grade, we're gonna teach you another way to write, even though you've just mastered the perfectly fine way we taught you first.

well, I can write in cursive very well. it's extremely neat. the only single word that could describe my cursive writing is "immaculate".

still, I make my marks in some half cursive/half print mumbo jumbo that best resembles pee in the snow....
