Let me tell you it every year the easter bunny came to our house. left a basket. all that jazz. key-he also left footprints leading up and down the stairs.along with some spilled jelly beans everywhere (i guess they fall out when you hop).one year when i was 11ish and my little brother was about 6 we woke up one fine easter morning only to discover no baskets.yes mom forgot to put them out.HOWEVER....my aunt did remember to put the footprints on the front porch. So that year the easter bunny came to my house. stood at the front door. and left. without bringing us anything.mom and dad thought it was funny so we stopped getting baskets after that year....but still got footprints.ahhhhhhh. my parents. i love themhave a beautiful easter.[Edited on March 23, 2008 at 3:00 PM. ^For Halloween my mom and dad have some thing with a grapefruit where they play pranks on each other. One time dad connected it to a rope and pulley in the bathroom, so when you opened the door the grapefruit rose and swung two feet in front of your face.[Edited on March 23, 2008 at 3:12 PM. Joie could make a thread about anything and it would be at least moderately successful.

That's really cute. I am currently catching a lot of grief for what has the potential to be our new Easter tradition. My son loves snakes, so when I was shopping for things to put in his Easter basket and saw a rubber snake I bought it. Now of course that was his favorite thing in the basket and my husband is going around making up stories about the "Easter Serpent," which I am SURE will come back to haunt us. Good thing we took him out of the church preschool.
