I know there wouldn't be anyway to control it, but they shouldn't let couples room together. Think about it, most people who live in dorm rooms are freshmen and sophomores. The majority of the people that are dating someone those years are dating the same person they dated in high school, and really how often do those relationships work out? The mid year break ups might not be a problem, but the moment someone brings another person back to the room for sex all hell will break loose.

For couples this could give them a chance to live together on a temporary basis. It could be a trial run for a 5 week summer session or 1 semester at a time at firsts to see how you like it before signing a 1 year lease together on an apartment or buying a house together.
