I dislike states with lots of tolls, states I can't pump my own gas in without bitching, and states with harsh alcohol rules (to purchase).

hawaii is a terrible state

its a gimmick state who's sole purpose is to allow the mainlanders a tropical island vacation getaway without having to have a passport

North Carolina- from the mountains to the coast, it's beautiful
Hawaii- awesome diving/surfing/mountain biking/etc
New Mexico- some of the best hiking in the country
