Poison Ivy why?
Your poison causes itching,
Damn you evil yard work.


(any home remedies to curb this itching before I chop my hand off?)

Go to the store and buy Technu. When you do yard work or may be exposed to it, (COLD) shower w/ it, wash your clothes w/ it and wipe down tools w/ either it or gasoline. This will cut the oils that cause it, and prevent a breakout. If a break out is already there, use it to cut the itch in a cold shower.

Spray benedryl works wonders.

If it's on your junk/between fingers/toes/armpits/or on your face/ or on the majority of your body, see your doc for steroid shot/cream/orals.

Calomine lotion sucks.

yours is better than mine (if for no other reason than I obviously can't count syllables properly)

It's between my fingers. went to the dr. because I have never had it before, got on some steroid cream and some other stuff. Not really helping to be perfectly honest.

Nothing's going to completely cut the itch out, unless you dope yourself up on benedryl or left over painkillers. It's going to itch, and being between the fingers.... IT SUCKS. Give it a few days to a week, and it will dry up.
