if i get one will it stop recording my shows before the weekend? i get so pissed when i go to watch tv on saturday and see that its been filled since tuesday since i forgot to erase the old stuff

one of those western digital things?

i been thinkin bout getting one

what's the advantage to it as opposed to me buying a sata drive and an esata enclosure?
