whenever someone post something offensive such as nudity or an automatically playing video with profanity, they would put "NSFW" in the title, unlike Jenbut what is that saying, not safe for work, but its ok for home?when did the workplace become the place for morality and our homes the place for immorality?
5/28/2008 12:14:10 AM
Might be too serious for Chit Chat.
5/28/2008 12:15:15 AM
Since people started working in public, and wearing clothes, and trying to adhere to some sort of standard of decency.Probably several thousand years ago.Go back in history to a time when it was alright to jack off or take a dump in front of other people, and then you'll have your answer.
5/28/2008 12:16:33 AM
it was a slipplus the title had "vagina" in it. What did you expect, my little ponies?
5/28/2008 12:17:34 AM
random porn pic in 5432(someone take over)
5/28/2008 12:18:45 AM
This thread DOES have NSFW in the title after all
5/28/2008 12:20:13 AM
5/28/2008 12:24:03 AM
That's retarded.I have seen dogs masturbate. Are you saying dogs are influenced by modern society?
5/28/2008 12:25:09 AM
5/28/2008 12:25:32 AM
5/28/2008 1:03:11 AM
well the work place is a place for work, not you dicking around on the internet
5/28/2008 1:04:29 AM
I thought the title of the thread was a pretty good indicator of the not-safe-for-workness.
5/28/2008 1:19:17 AM
since there's NSFW in the thread title, it's safe for a NSFW picture to be in hererite?
5/28/2008 2:21:10 AM
actually everywhere I go is open for immorality
5/28/2008 2:23:10 AM
5/28/2008 2:25:00 AM
the nsfw is a lie
5/28/2008 4:05:37 AM
well you don't care, but others may be offended. Will somebody please think of the co-workers?
5/28/2008 6:18:42 AM
^ did you know that Cheerwine and Blackhaus makes a shot that tastes exactly like Nyquil? Right down to the finish. In the absence of Cheerwine you can use Coke and grenadine for a similar effect.
5/28/2008 6:23:07 AM
actually the title should say " a reflection of society" but the fact that noone called me out on it is indeed another reflection of tww
5/28/2008 9:23:07 AM
here's one just for lafta: GTFO
5/28/2008 9:26:53 AM
since when did tww need to be WORK appropriate? I wouldnt want my employees jacking around on tww while i pay them. perhaps you should look into your own work ethic
5/28/2008 9:42:38 AM
nsfw.
5/28/2008 10:51:55 AM
so far looks SFW to me
5/28/2008 10:59:29 AM
22 posts and no porn. You oughtta be ashamed of yerselves.
5/28/2008 11:00:00 AM
this thread does not deliverbut then, i only got to the NSFW before clicking
5/28/2008 11:07:27 AM
5/28/2008 11:14:43 AM
I think you're missing the point. Immorality shouldn't be in the home either.
5/28/2008 12:15:51 PM
yeah, why is it that most of yall are discussing where its appropriate to be immoralyou all miss point entirely and further give evidence of the moral degradation in this societyby the way im half joking by saying this but unfortunately its all true

I didn’t read everything so someone may have already said it, but I think Work Vs Home is a mischaracterization of the real distinction which is Public Vs Private. And public vs private is in no way an uncommon barometer of acceptable behavior whether or not it relates to what someone does or doesn't wear or say.

Sex is immoral?
5/28/2008 4:56:57 PM
no, but sex at work is (for most jobs)
5/28/2008 5:00:47 PM
^^^ that doesn't look comfortable for either party.[Edited on May 28, 2008 at 5:33 PM. Reason : and is that sarose ?]
5/28/2008 5:33:25 PM
ok let me get this straight with some of you, you say you wouldnt do certain things at work which i obviously agree with, but would you play the seasame street song at work?i hope the answer is no.but if i made a thread with that song in it i wouln't have to put "nsfw"so its not about inappropriateness at work but about general morality vs. immorality
5/28/2008 5:37:38 PM
i beat off at work but im self-employed and work from homedoes that make me a bad employee?
5/28/2008 5:43:53 PM
^you're the boss, you figure it out
5/28/2008 5:44:37 PM
oh i already know im terriblebut what am i gonna do fire myself? you getting it yet? its not about morality
5/28/2008 5:45:56 PM
every workplace has its own set of rulesbut theres a difference between appropriateness and moralitymorality we take with us everywhere, appropriateness is relative to where we areso if you beat off at work or at home its makes no difference with respect to morality, by the way im not judging anyone im just discussing just for fun
5/28/2008 5:48:32 PM
this argument is retarded.
5/28/2008 5:53:08 PM
5/28/2008 5:56:56 PM
5/28/2008 5:59:41 PM
look, there are certain things you can do at work and certain things you cannot. For instance, right now, I am sitting in a chair at home with just a shirt and boxers on. It is no less moral for to do such a thing at work. It's just that I would get fired at work for doing so. Thus, if the action "sitting in a chair with just a shirt and boxers on" were a thread on TWW, the thread title should have the tag of "NSFW." How fucking hard is that to comprende?
5/28/2008 6:48:54 PM
5/28/2008 7:00:04 PM
this thread has taken a wrong turn. i'm done viewing it.
5/28/2008 7:15:21 PM
Immorality shouldn't be anywhere. But once we get rid of immorality, morality will be redundant.
