5/29/2008 12:22:45 AM
are they the ones that you can blow powdered sugar out the end to simulate smoke?i got cartons of those things back in the day.i promoted smoking without developing cancer, yay!
5/29/2008 12:23:20 AM
^ No, they're solid sugar and some kind of binding agent. The simulated smoke ones sound like fun though.
5/29/2008 12:26:37 AM
i was told something like they were outlawed or something cause people were like we shouldnt be promoting smoking even if its candy
5/29/2008 12:26:48 AM

I was in Montana Cady Emporium in Red Lodge Monday and they had candy cigarettes called 'Black Lung'. I was like The ones with fake smoke was gum wrapped in paper. If I'm not mistaken, I think Cracker Barrels may sell them.[Edited on May 29, 2008 at 12:29 AM. Reason : ]

The really chalky ones that are just sugar and paste are the best!I found a box of 24 packs for $six-fiddy dollar bucks online. Before shipping.
5/29/2008 12:33:49 AM
I hope cig companies make those, if not, they are missing out on lost profits.

That general store in Beaufort, NC carries them. It's the only place I've seen them for a while. I bet World Market in Cary near Crossroads would have them, as they have all kinds of rare and random candy items there that I haven't been able to find anywhere else (for $FUCK).I do get a kick out of these things. I buy them just to be a tard. I think a friend lit one on fire once, it didn't really burn, then he burned his finger with a match. That's gotta be the least exciting story told on TWW tonight, but we were hoping it would go nuts like a sparkler or something.

^^back in the 50s the tobacco companies were definitely in bed with the candy companies. Now, who knows. I think Necco has at least a couple different versions.
5/29/2008 12:52:34 AM
The only ones I've ever had tasted like schoolroom chalk.

I used to buy them at the store in the Atrium
5/29/2008 8:09:58 AM
we used to get those so we could be cool like grandma and smoke our "cigarettes"i've seen them at the commonwealth market here
5/29/2008 8:12:03 AM
when we were 8 or 9, my friend and i decided her mom was awesome, so we started drinking and smoking to be like her. but the cool part was, she had put beer in our baby bottles when we were little to put us to sleep, so we were already halfway to cool.

5/29/2008 11:23:25 AM
I love those things, but now they give me headaches because of the massive amounts of sugar.
5/29/2008 1:30:26 PM
Yeah I understand eating them as kids, but what kind of adult is munching on these things. Pure sugar? What are you, a baby?
