South College Sandwich and Deli. Literally the dankest sandwich and homemade chips I have ever eaten. And it was only like $7. The food is amazing and they give you a good amount.

fuck a boardwalk. i hate the damn beach unless i'm fishing.
5/30/2008 1:43:28 AM
Eat at flaming amysgo to the beach and get some trolley stop hot dogs and kohls custardI like walking around downtown. There's some neat, overpriced stores there. Ice cream from Kilwins + music from CD Alley next door. Fibber McGees is near the beach, they have tvs, six pool tables, and awesome guinness brownies.

Good luck. Lived in wilmington for over 23+ years. There is a lot to do there, but even more at places like here in Raleigh or Charlotte. Summertime in Wilm can be fun though!

i'm staying at the wingate on market street. anything close to that?
5/30/2008 10:01:19 AM
flaming amy's is really good. check out any live music down by the beaches. if all else fails, stroll into a random apartment party and have a good time.

Don't go to Ibiza unless you are a gay male or a female looking to not get hit on by douchebags but you still want a drink. But you are a guy, so if you are straight, steer clear. The Liquid Room has $1 drinks on Thursdays and under 21 entry...my friend was trying to get me to go out last night, so that's the only thing I have too add. There's a good music scene downtown, and there's always buffalo wild wings or whatever to just chill at. Good food, downtown though, muchos grande food. The Kohls on market is a paint store now...idk about the Carolia Beach one.

i used to live there for a couple of years... it's a cool place to visit, but i fucking hated tourist season. getting 3 miles down the road to work took me 45 minutes.my picks:underground sandwich shop http://www.menupix.com/wilmington/restaurants.php?id=650155city stage 5 - improv nighthttp://www.citystageatlevel5.com/elizabeth's pizzahttp://www.elizabethspizzawilmington.comsoapbox laundromat/loungehttp://www.soapboxlaundrolounge.comcd alley (sry couldn't find their site)http://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7GFRC&um=1&q=cd+alley&near=Wilmington,+N+Carolina&fb=1&view=text&latlng=18387232818254507483OH - and if you have any interest in bonsai trees, the bonsai man is fucking awesome. just drive down market st. towards downtown, and his house/bonsai shop is on the right. he is seriously the mr. miyagi of bonsai.[Edited on June 1, 2008 at 12:25 PM.
