ive got my car keys and 5 dollars and a pair of scissors and a coke on my desk. its not too bad. ive seen it worse before i broke my laptop and never used this room though

I went to surplus and got a computer desk for 2 bones, could have gotten one for a single but it had a few scratches

yea... i loved the way they look but I sat down at one in-store. As soon as I picked my hand up I saw the problem. Just think of a drink circle or a drop of kool-aid that misses the mouf or a little bit of grease off a cookout tray. Not a good idea...

I had one like this (except it was painted black) that I bought from another TWW'er a while back. Nice desk, pretty sturdy. The glass wasn't a problem, even with a computer and a couple of LCD monitors on it. Just sold it recently to make some room. Might not be my first choice, but it looked damn good.
