6/1/2008 9:56:49 AM
i tried to go to sleep at like 2:30 for all of 5 minutes before i realized it was an exercise in futility.

I think I blew a gasket or something. I feel so fucked up still.

have you ever felt like completely random happenings and things being said over the course of several hours are part of a much larger picture of what's going on in the world that you can't possibly comprehend? it's the most eerie feeling i can possibly describe. i can't tell if everyone knows about it but me or if it's all completely random.

i think you are referring to the theory of synchronicity... one of my favorite topics.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronicity

I went to bed early so I could go to church.Tonight, I will not know what I have done because I started drinking margaritas approximately .012 seconds after I got out of church.I'm a living contradiction. alcoholic[Edited on June 1, 2008 at 12:03 PM. Reason : ]

^^ That seems kind of like what's going on. I'm not sure though. I'm having a hard time processing that article right now. It feels a little more spiritual than the way they describe it in the article, but I don't really know how to classify that because I'm not really a religious type person.

Oh baby I feel so down

inner religion can be pretty much explained by psychology... like when you know walking under a ladder will not cause bad luck, but you avoid it anyway "just in case", or because it's tradition. without the search for a higher meaning to this cesspit we've created, many people would not find much of a reason to be kind to each other. i mean, how many people don't do things just because they think they'll go to hell? how many people, given the opportunity, would walk into a completely deserted church, stand in front of the cross, and say "FUCK!" without feeling a twinge of guilt? nobody likes the vision of spending eternity in torment and pain, so it's kind of a make-believe game we've concocted to keep each other in check and try to make the world a safer place. that's my half-baked opinion, though.[Edited on June 1, 2008 at 12:18 PM. Way to turn me off
6/1/2008 12:19:12 PM
...I went to sleep at 4:30. Might be more appropriate in a thread titled 'this morning'.
6/1/2008 12:23:03 PM
i wrote you a letter
