i looked online and saw that its $127/credit tuition and $12/credit fees for in-state students. Is this an additional $127/credit on top of regular tuition? Do you have to pay this on top of what you are paying for the standard 12 hrs or does it just add extra fees?

No, not on top of what you normally pay.If think if you're already paying for full time tuition then you only have to pay the extra fee to add a DE class.

so to simplify this, ill be paying an extra 36 bucks for a 3 hr class on top of what i would normally be paying?

Yeah, I believe so. If you're already paying full time tuition then you're not going to have to pay any more just because it's a DE class.

sweet... thanks

DE has nothing to do with regular tuition and is completely separate. you'll have to pay 127*3+36.

the university will do anything in their power to make sure they suck every dollar they can out of you

so its $417 for a 3 hour class on top of full tuition and fees?

^that's ridiculous, if so.

It's true. And ridiculous.NC State loves milking its students. This should be no surprise.

if you're only planning on taking 12 hours totaltaking 9 hours on campus and 1 distance ed actually saves you money.
6/6/2008 12:35:19 PM
yeah i just called... its an extra 417mother fuckers
6/6/2008 12:35:56 PM
I'm taking 15 hours plus I have to take a 3 hour DE class to stay on track with my major. It's a fucking scam, I'd take it on campus but when they only offer 1 section it's near impossible to do.
