somebody told me their vision was measured at 18/18, better and stronger than 20/20. is this complete bullsh!t?

yes

ask them "can you see this?" and then when they say "see what?", sucker punch them in the retina.

wouldn't 18/18 be the same as 20/20?20/18 would be better then normal

yes it is, the 20/20 is the standard copernican method which uses a eye dimension with visibility test but the 18/18 mayan method has been proven to with proper conversion to actually be 21/24 so any eye doctor which uses that method gives an exaggerated figure, so your friend actually needs glasses

i have friend that is 20/10

I was 20/15 when I first got these glasses. That is, with the glasses on. Now it's probably closer to 20/20 or less. They've been bent by carelessness and my right eye has also gotten a bit worse (but not my left).

I was 20/10 the last time I had my eyes checked. My eyes are so strong I saw an "a" in between "have" and "friend". ^^ [Edited on June 6, 2008 at 8:11 PM. Reason : karrotte]
