quittin is for pussies
6/15/2008 1:23:14 PM
cigs
6/15/2008 1:23:19 PM
imo smoking is alot less 'natural' than drinking alcohol.
6/15/2008 1:23:36 PM
cigs or both at the same time. Then you won't smoke when you drink.
6/15/2008 1:27:02 PM
I was thinking beer first because that would be easier?
6/15/2008 1:34:57 PM
how would beer be easier you fucking downiehow many people do you know that are addicted to beer
6/15/2008 1:38:16 PM
Well, don't they usually say that people with addictive habits will become dependent upon their other addictive habits if they try to quit just one of them? That is, if you considered yourself an alcoholic and you tried to quit smoking, you'd become more of an alcoholic. I'm not sure if that's some freudian bullshit or what.TBH I'd quit both at the same time and use something to help you overcome nicotine cravings so you don't fall back into the habit. That's going to be a pain in the ass, but at least you won't risk becoming more dependent upon cigs or alcohol depending upon what you quit first.Good luck with quitting smoking.[Edited on June 15, 2008 at 1:40 PM. Reason : ^ Well, alcoholics anonymous knows of a few people.]
6/15/2008 1:40:08 PM
go without it for 21 days and you shake the habit..... so they say
6/15/2008 1:41:23 PM
quit cigs to buy more beer
6/15/2008 1:42:17 PM
smoking first i'd say
6/15/2008 1:42:22 PM
id think beer was way easier than cigs
6/15/2008 1:45:25 PM
quit smoking for sureits way worse for youdrinking isn't all that bad for you unless you're doing it to excess and developing a dependency or if the extra calories aren't getting burned
6/15/2008 1:47:03 PM
I suppose a proper answer depends on whether or not your family has a history of alcoholism and substance abuse. If your family does have a history with this, drop the beer first (as it's probably killing your productivity and liver more than anything else). If not, consider dropping smoking first (as getting trashed occasionally hasn't killed off the college student population, but smoking can make it pretty hard to go and do some daily tasks without getting super-winded).That would be in order of damage control, I'd guess.
6/15/2008 1:48:54 PM
drinking is going to make it easier to relapse into smokingcause you'll get drunk and say "fuck it!"I suggest you quit both and smoke pot whenever you want to do either of those things cause its not addictivethen later quit smoking the pot
6/15/2008 1:52:33 PM
6/15/2008 1:52:38 PM
just quit both, and get a good coke habit. you'll lose weight too!
6/15/2008 2:19:05 PM
"cleaning up your act" doesn't workchange your lifestyle, then the rest will fall into place
6/15/2008 2:28:18 PM

6/15/2008 2:29:01 PM

6/15/2008 3:45:50 PM

VERY hard to quit cigarettes if you're still drinking beer. There's a hardcore psychological link between the two.
7/2/2008 1:30:50 PM
7/2/2008 1:33:20 PM
Don't do it

If you quit smoking you won't smell like cigarette smoke, if you quit drinking beer you won't be any fun...so there you have it. Ditch the smokes and keep the brews.
