6/18/2008 4:25:53 PM
the fact that you are loling made me giggle if that halpso/ for the GPA
6/18/2008 4:26:36 PM
damn right i'm a dork now... i spend way too much time studying/at school... but i need to be in the top of my class to get the job i want and be able to move back to raleigh...^ I never made higher than a 3.5 in high school or college... but now that I'm paying for it myself I take it a hell of a lot more serious... that and I'm more mature now.[Edited on June 18, 2008 at 4:28 PM. 6/18/2008 4:27:24 PM
what are you trying to be when you grow up
6/18/2008 4:28:19 PM
investment banking
6/18/2008 4:29:03 PM
Oh I feel you!!!I was so proud of my GPA when I graduated college. I worked my ass off when I came back to finish at State!I tried to high five you
6/18/2008 4:29:08 PM
a banker huhIf you're going to be in NC then our paths will probably cross someday
6/18/2008 4:31:54 PM
i'll be earning my MS with a 4.02 GPA. too bad there's no system for acknowledging it
6/18/2008 5:00:27 PM
grad school GPAs are pretty much a joke. it would take an incredible effort to get an F and if you suck at a class the worst you usually will see is a C or a pity B-.
6/18/2008 5:28:49 PM
hah, bullshit. i only had a couple classes that were "easy" (mainly stats, due to note cards). physiology especially was not "easy" and i got an A+ both semesters.
6/18/2008 7:17:35 PM
^^ he is right^ he didnt say they were easy... he just said that almost everyone makes high grades in grad school, which is true, at least it was in engineering
6/18/2008 7:18:41 PM
i brought my overall (undergrad) GPA up almost 3 points from freshman to senior yearbut that was more a product of fucking up first semester and then getting my shit straight]
6/18/2008 7:39:23 PM
lol @ wanting to go into investment banking, deciding to go to State, and then bragging about your GPAi feel like thats equivalent to wanting to win an olympic medal in swimming, and training at a bunch of high school swim meets, then bragging about your silver medal at the NCHSAA regionals in raleigh
6/18/2008 7:49:44 PM
Do I go to NC State, though? That's the question. It doesn't really matter where my undergrad degree is from...[Edited on June 18, 2008 at 8:48 PM. Reason : unc student jumping to conclusion I'm guessing...]

I have no idea what you're arguing, but you fucking suck at it.
6/18/2008 8:55:04 PM
He's a business student at UNC according to his profile. I know what he was getting at and he's probably right if his assumption that I was at State was correct. But I'm not... no big deal.
6/18/2008 8:57:20 PM
