ha. in about 7th grade we went to this youth legislative assembly thing in raleigh and the motel rooms had showtime.

HBO has better movies. Showtime might have marginally better shows, but that's really only because they have more of them. They don't do the miniseries thing like HBO does. Band of Brothers, that John Adams thing, Rome... those were all HBO. I'd say overall, HBO definitely wins.

Series like Sopranos, Entourage, Deadwood, Rome. The mini-series Band of Brothers and John Adams.

Granted I've never bought Showtime, but loved Californication when I had it in a free trial.

I also liked Elizabeth and the Aftermath-pretty awesome.
OH YEAH!!! DEADWOOD IS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS EVER!!!
