i think fully charged is 5 hours or so.

my old one was a 1 hour MAX at fully charged, but i couldnt ever get it to last 1 hour. original batt'ry since '02. got this new one off ebay made in JAPAN (sold from china, kinda odd ) last week.

i bought a new laptop battery.

then the gf tripped over the power cord.

now i can't charge said battery.

unless someone has a presario 2100 and will charge it for me.

i got mine off of ebay.

i just typed in my thinkpad model # and made sure the type # also matched.

ive heard you dont wanna get a made in china one. get ones made in japan.

but if you can get an original, then go that route. the last time i checked for this IBM batt'ry it was expensive, then 4-5 months later (which was last week), i needed it quick so i just went on ebay.

i think its an extended life one (sticks out a bit in the back).

take it to best buy or wherever they sell compaq...

ive done that with my sprint phone, id be driving around and its dying, id stop by a retailer and use their charger for to get enough juice for whatever i need.

all the sites i've seen with power supplies, even 3rd party manufactured power supplies, have tons of laptop manufacturers but i haven't seen one with Westinghouse
