i went to a nascar race once and the section i was sitting in didn't have the speakers turned on and we couldn't hear the race placement. i called up pretending to be a maintenance dude who lost the number for his boss and they put me through i was all like "Yeah this is Jimmy down on the track we're not getting any sound out of the speakers in turn 4 could we have somebody check to see if they're on" and then they turned them on like a minute later it was great
