yeah fireworks shows are definitely overrated.


doing it at parties is cool, but not something i would pay money for every year, its cool till you fuck up something, then the next firework after that has lost its novelty.

I'm usually pretty ho-hum about fireworks. I remember taking a nap during the fireworks show last year when I was at the beach. But last night we walked out to the beach with a cooler of beer and saw four different fireworks displays from where we were stationed (I'm in Charleston, so we saw the one on Sullivans Island, IOP, Folly Beach, and downtown). It was pretty fucking awesome.

The best show I have seen to this day was new years in Vegas. A syncronized display was set off from 9 different casino tops. shit was hot!

One of my dogs is scared of them. But my big dog ripped the blinds off one of the living room windows and the ones off the back door 2 years ago when my parents and I were outside setting some off. Once we let him out, he attacked a roman candle and actually bit my Dad in his fireworks rage. Thankfully, it was still barely storming last night at 9 when everyone started setting them off, and they didn't realize it was fireworks.
