i guess the criteria i was thinking of is "would you want someone to meet them"??

My dad is a veterinarian so he meets lots of people daily. My friends seem to like him.

My mom is pretty easy going and can cook well. My friends seem to stay for dinner a lot.

if her mom is fat i think more negatively, than i do if the mom is skinny/fit like the daughter

my parents changed a little ever since they moved to san francisco... its almost like they're borderline snobby

My father died when I was a kid.

My mother is not really the motherly type. She didn't really want more children because she had a kid with her first husband, but my father wanted kids of his own. After my father died, she didn't make it a secret that she didn't want us. So, we have our problems. Major big humongous problems.

As long as I view my mother as a friend and not my mother, she's not that bad. She's a pretty heinous parent, but an alright long distance friend.

Most of my friends like her just fine. (as long as they leave how she treats me as a daughter out of the equation) She's pretty cool. Open minded. Not really all that strange for an artist. I definitely wouldn't mind anyone meeting her.

I have never really minded introducing any of my friends to anyone in my family.
