i just used an infrared thermometer on the underside of my macbook pro where the gpu/cpu/northbridge all bond with the heatpipe (and conveinently where it sits on my lap)

72 degrees celsius... which is 161.6 degrees fahrenheit. the proteins in an egg start to denature at 158 degrees fahrenheit.
