Some of the old hats at the exam were talking about the code requirement. Talking about how easy the tests have gotten too. I want to go all the way to extra. I took the general while I was there just to see. I didn't pass it but I figured what the hell.

Congrats. Depending how your VE team entered your info, you could get your callsign today. Use the FCC's site to look yourself up, rather than a site like QRZ. FCC will probably update before a site like QRZ will. I got my license when I was 13, and upgraded to Extra last year - I'm W4TRN.
