7/18/2008 4:00:50 AM
No, this is a movie you have to see in theaters. It is incredible.I just wish I could've seen it in IMAX
7/18/2008 4:02:03 AM
i bet you still can!
7/18/2008 4:02:24 AM
I'd probably have to drive for like, 3 hours. Also,
7/18/2008 4:04:14 AM

7/18/2008 1:58:52 PM
I have 4 free passes to the IMAX I need to exchange for tickets to a showing on Monday.
7/18/2008 1:58:55 PM
Mr. Freeze is the only thing that will make this movie worth seeing
7/18/2008 1:59:56 PM
if i enjoy it enough, i might drag the hubby to see it on the IMAXsaw Happy Feet on the IMAX and loved it
7/18/2008 2:00:59 PM
I knoes this is a dumb question, but is there an IMAX in Rally; and if so, where is it?
7/18/2008 2:01:29 PM
it's in downtown, right by the science museum and sort of across from one of those big important buildings - is it the capitol building?
7/18/2008 2:02:13 PM
FUck if I know...What I do know is that I"m about to watch the fuck out of some Dark Knight in the IMAX.
7/18/2008 2:03:42 PM
It's attached to the Marbles Children's Museum, on Blount street, one block north of Moore Square.
7/18/2008 2:04:07 PM
7/18/2008 2:07:19 PM
I don't understand people who don't want to see a movie like this multiple times in multiple formats anyway. Why would you not go and see an incredible film more than once?
7/18/2008 2:08:47 PM
Date night!!!Who's ready?
7/18/2008 2:10:08 PM
Already bought tickets for the 7:00 showing at Mission Valley. It may not be the best theater in town...but it serves beer, so actually yeah it's the best theater in town.
7/18/2008 2:25:51 PM
It's not the best theater in town...but beer aside, it doesn't have stupid stadium seating bullshit, so it's better than all those that do.
7/18/2008 2:47:54 PM
7/18/2008 2:49:38 PM
this isn't the movie you need a beer to enjoy, and hell you won't want to go get a refill
7/18/2008 2:54:56 PM
That's why I said it doesn't matter whether or not MV has beer, it only matters that they don't have lameass stadium seating.
7/18/2008 2:57:19 PM
i want to see it in IMAX
7/18/2008 2:58:27 PM
me three
7/18/2008 2:59:52 PM
i'm not the tallest guy in the worldso stadium seating sometimes helps me outespecially if i go to mission valley and fucking carmen miranda comes and sits in front of me
7/18/2008 3:00:05 PM
Why the hate on stadium seating?
7/18/2008 3:00:07 PM
for real. i love stadium seating[Edited on July 18, 2008 at 3:01 PM. Reason : vinylbandit always has sand in his vagina though]
7/18/2008 3:01:04 PM
there are generally three rows of seats in a stadium seating theater with an acceptable viewing anglesome of them are too lowmost of them are too highi don't want to look down upon the movie
7/18/2008 3:02:04 PM
[no]
7/18/2008 3:03:05 PM
I guess that makes sense; never really seemed to bother me much on a 100 ft screen tho. To each his own I guess
7/18/2008 3:03:48 PM
that's the beauty of imaxthe screen says to you"check it out, i'm in the right place for all of you"^ it's only really a problem in the mega-theaters that are much wider and taller than the screen...but that's precisely the kind of room we're talking about on release weekend for a movie like this ]
7/18/2008 3:04:01 PM
So if IMAX wasn't in the equation, are you saying you'd sacrifice a bigger screen and a MUCH better sound system of a Crossroads type theater in exchange for a MV w/ shitty sound and smaller screen...just for the sake of being on your preferred plane with the screen?
7/18/2008 3:12:13 PM
yesthe sound at crossroads isn't much better than mv since they upgraded the sound in the big rooms, thoughi like intimacy in my theaters
7/18/2008 3:14:20 PM
i did see it...wednesday night, for free at IMAX, before most of you and yes...best movie i've seen in a LONG time...ledger is a disturbingly awesome joker
7/18/2008 3:17:42 PM
I think this one's definitely worth seeing at the IMAXI shall be there Monday evening I believe
7/18/2008 3:20:29 PM
accidentally saw it at midnight. It really was fantastic.
7/18/2008 3:20:38 PM
accidentally?
7/18/2008 3:23:34 PM
what, like you tripped and he fell?
7/18/2008 3:24:13 PM
its a chick, she probably got confused by the numbers on her ticket and went into the wrong theater when trying to see another movie
7/18/2008 3:24:53 PM
tell it to the one-legged man so he can bump it off down the road
7/18/2008 3:26:06 PM
accidentally as in we got out of a movie at 11:40, discovered that the lobby/hallway was full of peeps for the midnight showing, decided to stay and watch it.
7/18/2008 3:30:50 PM
oh you mean illegally
7/18/2008 3:31:45 PM
7/18/2008 3:35:06 PM
ok, so i have never seen any of the batman movies and don't know any story or anythingwill i still enjoy this movie?
7/18/2008 6:29:28 PM
The only Batman movie with any relevance to this one is Batman Begins. If you know how/why Batman became Batman, that's enough, really.
7/18/2008 6:31:17 PM
i do not know this. i would guess because he wants to stop bad guys from doing bad things
7/18/2008 6:33:19 PM
7/18/2008 6:33:36 PM
I'd tell you to go read Batman: Year One, but the simple explanation is this:Bruce Wayne's parents were killed by a street criminal before his very eyes when he was a small boy. Because he is/was the heir to a significant fortune, he uses his means to fight crime in his home of Gotham City in the guise of a bat.
7/18/2008 6:35:44 PM
ok, thanks. i might go see this.
7/18/2008 6:40:20 PM
