I hit a pretty big deer when I lived in Apex. Did $5500 in damage to my truck. While we were waiting for the cop to show up, 5 different people pulled over and asked "Hey man, are you guys going to take that deer?" I told all of them to just wait until after the cop did the report then it was all theirs. Needless to say, it was gone the next morning.

haha YES! I can't even believe you saw it too. We drove by around 2 or 2:30 so the poor little guy must have been alive for a while. Now I feel uber guilty I didn't put it out of its misery. However my friend isn't much of an animal lover and would have put me out of my own misery had I gotten possium guts on her truck.
