RALEIGH - Raleigh police say a man found dead outside an apartment building at 508 Tartan Circle late Wednesday was a homicide victim.

Police this morning identified the dead man as Anthony Dwayne Scarborough, 32. Detectives do not think the killing was random, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said in a news release this morning.

Officers found Scarborough's body on the ground outside a two-story building at Kensington Park Apartments, off Avent Ferry Road south of the N.C. State University campus, about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. This morning, police were searching a Chevrolet SUV parked in front of the building and had cordoned off three other vehicles in an adjoining parking lot.

Anyone with information that might assist the investigation is asked to call detectives at (919) 890-3555 or CrimeStoppers at (919) 226-2746.

not parking nazis....the flooding apts are only on one side(not the side i live on), bugs aint that bad of a problem(at least for me), apts are large

poor insulation is a good one...but i'm in a one bedroom and my power was only like 55 for june(like 3rd hottest month)...in the winter you hardly even need the heater

Used to live there while at school. 2717-2. Great spot; one of the closest apts. to the Wolfline stop. It was old and we had quite a time with some camel crickets due to a stupid thing I did once, but overall, I really liked it. It was far enough away from campus to feel like it was my own place, but still close enough that if I HAD to walk to school, I still could. Overall, I would rate the overall experience 8/10.
