7/19/2008 3:38:51 PM
I typically just do a 'Google Shopping' to find the lowest price for me. Miles cheaper than GNC and still worth it to order online rather than go to Vitamin Shoppe
7/19/2008 3:57:13 PM

nutritionexpress.comi love those guys
7/19/2008 4:19:14 PM
yeah the only thing i've really ever hated about creatine is it is a daily thing even if you dont lift, plus you got to like double your water intake or you get cramps easy
7/19/2008 4:19:32 PM
http://www.DPSnutrition.comyou can also find 5lb bags of EAS 100% whey protein at bj's/sams club for 30ish[Edited on July 19, 2008 at 4:29 PM. Reason : ]
7/19/2008 4:27:07 PM
loading sucks too. i am thinking about starting it back up though because i have kind of plateaued. and yeah, I am sure i spelled that wrong.
7/19/2008 4:28:42 PM
Loading creatine is a successful marketing ploy.Being in the gym everyday for creatine is BS. However, having a grasp of diet and training, and practicing it would be requirements to avoid flushing that money down the toilet, literally.[Edited on July 19, 2008 at 4:33 PM. Reason : ]
7/19/2008 4:30:53 PM

^^well then educate me oh wise one...what nutrients am i just fucking myself over on by eating healthy?
7/19/2008 5:16:00 PM
DNL please shutup. You eat ramen noodles and look like a malnourished gay weasel. Go troll somewhere else, you know nothing about human anatomy and physiology. You DO need to take a multivitamin if you work out, despite the fact THAT YOU EAT FOOD DNL. When you exercise you use more nutrients than usual which you should replenish, a multivitamin and electrolyte supplements are much more critical than taking whey or creatine.
7/19/2008 5:19:37 PM
i wish you were not such a douchebag troll
7/19/2008 5:20:11 PM
I wish you weren't anything
7/19/2008 5:21:26 PM
that's not even originally what you said.. you said you don't take it because you're not a fan of pills. would you take creatine if it was in a pill form? what the hell difference does it make if it's a pill?
7/19/2008 5:21:29 PM
idk i just dont like pill poppers...i hate how everyone takes a pill for something now a days....
7/19/2008 5:23:09 PM
then crush the thing up and put it in a glass of OJ or something if it makes you feel better[Edited on July 19, 2008 at 5:24 PM. Reason : nicer]
7/19/2008 5:24:42 PM
seriously though, what nutrients am i REALLY missing? not saying "REALLY" sarcastically, i'm just curious what types of things the multivitamin has that i need[Edited on July 19, 2008 at 5:29 PM. Reason : obviously vitamin c, a, and a few other things i already get enough of from food]
7/19/2008 5:28:46 PM
complete bullshit. if you eat right you do not need to take multivitamin. not only are synthesized vitamins less effective than vitamins found in food, but you are also loading yourself with non-FDA approved products that contain other chemicals commonly added during manufacturing. some of the vitamins, such as vitamin A ( found in carrots, livers, spinach etc) are fat soluble and do not leave the system as easy as vitamin C does for example (urine). eating right and on top of that overloading with multivitamins is not necessary. with certain vitamins and minerals you can actually ingest far more than body needs, or worse, can process. even eating 1 g of protein for 1kg of weight is too much, unless you are professional body builder. protein rich diet puts a tremendous pressure on kidneys.
7/19/2008 5:31:19 PM
^The ketosis theory has been disapproved quite a few times over, it's simply overlooked by the modern medical establishment. But you keep eating all your carbohydrates and ignoring multivitamins, they make really cool colors of one touch monitors now
7/19/2008 5:35:24 PM
damn y'all got told
7/19/2008 5:35:26 PM
7/19/2008 5:44:39 PM
Yahoo! Shopping
7/19/2008 5:46:24 PM
^^yes magazines are a shitty place for nutritional info, esp mens health. However, your basis for needed protien is based upon shitty narrow minded and missapplied research. For someone active (not just for "bodybuilding"), you are wrong.I do agree that multivitamins are not needed, assuming you are getting sufficient nutrients from fresh foods, though.
