^wasn't much of a story

I had it planned out that we would take a walk on this secluded beach right before the sun went down and I would ask her then. Unfortunately it was raining like crazy on Saturday night so I had to improvise.

Instead we checked into our hotel room at the Clarendon Inn in downtown Wilmington. BTW...the Clarendon Inn is beautiful and I highly recommend it. Great location downtown, unique, clean and really good service.

Anyway...we get into the room and wanted to rest up a little before we went out for the night. I had reservations for Circa 1922 later that night. We got to talking and I figured this would be the best time to ask her because we were alone and she could react any way she wanted. So while we were laying in bed together, i grabbed the ring from my backpack and asked her.

She had absolutely no clue that I was going to ask her. I had the ring for about a month and a half but she thought I wasn't getting the ring until sometime next year. To throw her off the trail, I continued to look at rings online and go to different stores even though I had already bought it.
