it really easy, but not practical for most people

you are gonna have to aim me to get it...drmarshmellow69...only other way would take an additional 20+ minutes plus then you'd have to download it(probably another 10 minutes or so depending on your connection)

yeah, i used to have a ton of spyware, adware, anti virus stuff on my laptop...then I got a virus and had to remove it manually, which didn't seem to go so well.had to wipe the hard drive eventually because I was tired of the errors, but it got rid of my bluetooth modem too now I don't have anything on here other than symantec which runs at midnight everynight...really annoying. still don't know how it got on here.
7/26/2008 9:00:51 PM
well anyways...goodluck...lol
7/26/2008 9:04:50 PM
yeah I have had my computer a few months without it but this norton crap expired but it keeps scanning my computer and telling me I have a virus.I'll hit you up on aim.
7/26/2008 9:05:38 PM
ok...i'm just hoping my internet connection stays up...had to go sit near my neighbors window to get hooked up to hears and i barely get it from my place...i'm about to shower so hurry up

might be able to google the virus and download an autofix programi honestly think though that the key to being virus free is to use firefox with noscript, i've had zero problems. my mom has been using firefox and noscript, but she tried to go to a site one day that wouldn't load in firefox...so she goes to Internet Explorer and BAM, horrible virus.Took her a lot of time to fix it, Norton wouldn't do anything about it, Spysweeper couldn't hit it either...eventually she had to remove it manually i think, and it may have remnants in her system. All Norton is good for is fucking up other programs like Adobe and Corel photoshop and bogging down the computer like a mother fucker.[Edited on July 26, 2008 at 9:11 PM. Reason : fuck norton]

shawna all i have to say it make sure incompletely uninstall the old Norton and get the norton removal tool as well or you might be asking for trouble

^
7/26/2008 9:09:13 PM
yeah, will do. I know multiple antivirus programs is asking for trouble.
7/26/2008 9:09:23 PM
not really that, not completely removing norton and installing symantec is probably what you should be scared of.
7/26/2008 9:10:28 PM
what happens then?
7/26/2008 9:12:12 PM
