CANTON – A Canton man was arrested last week for allegedly breaking into a woman’s house and stealing a sex toy. According to warrants, 48-year-old Scott Gillis Murray, of Murray Road, allegedly broke into a home off of N.C. 110 on July 25 and stole “one adult toy personal entertainment device and one bottle of personal lubricant.”Haywood County Sheriff's deputies arrested Murray Saturday and charged him with felony burglary, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and felony possession of stolen property. He was released on $3,000 unsecured bond. He is due in Waynesville District Court Aug. 13.

This reminds me of a 20/20 episode I saw a couple weeks ago. They were talking about sex censorship in America and cited some specific examples of how government took things a bit far when saying what grown adults can and can't do in a private setting. For example, in Alabama it's illegal to sell sex toys.
