In short, an inmate on death row who weights 267lbs claims that he is "too fat" to be executed. Apparently, it's harder to find their veins to inject drugs into his blood stream, also that he's been taking a seizure pill which could render the drugs that should put him to sleep useless when he'd be executed.

WTF ever happened to just killing inmates and not worry about how they feel? Why can't we just put all the death row people on an island and duke it out gladiator style for our entertainment? I mean, it's not like they cared worth shit for their victims to deserve our hearts and minds.

i've always said the death penalty doesn't work

and by putting people to death we're doing the same thing they've been condemned for doing

an eye for an eye would be great and all (as would killing them in the same manner as they killed their victims) but the appeals process is lengthy and expensive. and since its so lengthy it doesn't even work to deter offenders. on the other hand, we could just kill people as soon as they are arrested (before conviction) or after conviction (adding time and $$$ though). but then we'd be taking away the appeals process which, arguably, takes away a very basic american freedom. i guess we could start doing that, but then people would just find something else to bitch about. then again, the justice system is already corrupt and unfair so what's another log on the fire.

i agree 100% the only way the system works is to drag them out by their feet upon convicition and sentencing, with their hands clawing at the earth, behind the courthouse and have them shot by the bailiff just enough so that they are not moving

we dont need to waste bullets do make sure they are dead, bury them as soon as they are not moving in any appreciable fashion
