it's new b/c i just got back from there...although i went 2 years ago for another wedding and didn't have nearly as bad of a time, but i won't be going back soon. i just don't understand why people live there. i guess if you're raised in it, you don't know any better.

stayed with family in lakewood. spent a lot of time in long beach & anaheim, and several other suburbs or whatever you would call them. the thread title really should have read "the LA area..."


one good point, i did find a dvd in chinatown of a certain movie that i really really love and that's still in theaters (which i will buy on blu-ray when it comes out also)

Yeah, I lived all around there for a good while. Like any place there is good and bad. I would never move there and raise kids and all. I'll be back in San Diego next week and don't plan on going anywhere North the whole time I'm there.
