This guy has been in the news a lot here in Knoxville. When I worked at a kennel a frequent customer came in saying his dog had just died due to this other spa basically grilling the dog alive. And that's not the first time a dog has died in this guy's hands. Just recently they announced an indictment for 2 counts animal cruelty which is a felony. He also got a DUI about a week ago, cops found him in a ditch puking but otherwise fine.

According to an affidavit, Webb was arrested aound 9:00 p.m. last Wednesday after driving a Jeep Wrangler into a ditch off Westland Drive near Northshore Drive in West Knox County. Deputies believe he had hit mailboxes on Clearbrook Drive earlier and fled the scene. "

After hearing of the attack, attorney Tom Ramsey said he took precautions at his home and closed his law practice for the day. The death of Ramsey's dog resulted in Webb's indictment. Knox County records show the house on Royal Harbor Drive was owned by Erik until April 24, then sold to his father, Carlos Webb, a veterinarian at Rocky Hill Animal Hospital. Sara filed for an order of protection against Erik in September 2008, but she later dropped the charges. In that order, Sara said Erik had alcohol and drug problems, had threatened her along with her family and their three children and that he drove drunk with loaded weapons. Officials say Erik was arrested once for a simple assault charge on Sara. Sara filed for divorce from Erik in 2007, but no other filings followed in that case. Officials say they believe the couple had been separated since April. Erik was arrested the night of May 27 by the sheriff's office on charges of driving under the influence, violating the implied consent law and hitting mailboxes and leaving the scene in West Knox County. On that occasion, officers found Erik laying on the ground by his Jeep in a ditch along Westland Drive. He was served with the animal cruelty charges in jail the next day and released from jail on a $2,000 bond. 6 News began investigating and reporting on the deaths of dogs at Happy Tails in January 2008."
