No amount of wacky behavior can change the amount of talent he had.

Then there's the matter of how much of that wacky behavior was his fault...he was being beaten daily and worked to death by his father at age nine and essentially had nothing even resembling a true childhood.

At twelve years old, instead of figuring out how girls work, he's hanging out with his brothers and Diana Ross.

By the time he's 25, he's got everything he could ever want in the world except any semblance of a normal life.

I'm not condoning any of off-color stuff he did (or didn't) do, but to act like he's just some crazy asshole and a bad person is ridiculous. I firmly believe that everyone's a little off-kilter, and you learn through life experience how to keep control of those personality quirks. Michael Jackson never had a moment to learn that control...he was too busy smiling on stage.
