'Tis good stuff. I like to just listen to internet radio. The stations seem to better at keeping up with the genre than I ever could/would be, lol.

my opinion on this genre of music has greatly changed over there years.

In my opinion, trance and techno make for much better dance music

Yeah, but trance music is good enough to warrant periodic new threads. I've actually been enjoying some of the early trance from back in like 2001 or so from Trance Party Vol. 2 & 3. I'd recommend looking it up on youtube sometime.

I agree HockeyRoman...old school trance is good, but the newer stuff rarely fails to impress..

Anyone have a favorite newcomer to the scene?
Tritonal is putting out some good quality stuff if you ask me.

House sounds too much like disco for my tastes.
I do like the Space Music channel as well as the Ambient Channel late at night when I just want something to relax to without a beat.

Actually, I first heard it several months ago on Trance Around the World. But I will have to check that out.

Corsten is great..I got to see him live at Cream's Opening Party in Ibiza in June, but I still don't think he can touch Armin van Buuren

Goa/Psychedelic Trance FTW! There are a lot of weird songs in that genre but the few that are good are mind-blowing. Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, Ethereal, etc. This genre consists of ~90% of the music I listen to lately, besides the obvious Alternative and Pop.
