As a chicago boy who lived in Raleigh for 3 years and moved back to the midwest I must say the biggest thing I miss about NC is Bojangles Chicken and Biscuits. Popeyes isn't horrible, but one doesn't crave it. I crave bojangles like something terrible.

you can do what you want at home but the "real" way involves breading, dipping in an egg or milk based liquid and breading again. Don't bash popeyes just because you don't like southern fried chicken.

^^ya bojangles uses a unique seasoning and thats what makes people crave it. Me personally hate stuff thats loaded with some "cheap" form of seasoning especially when the quality is elsewise low.
