I had a ticket w/ Pat but I stupidly turned it down (though I had prior obligations)!!

^ craigslist is one big fail. I spent literally 6 hours refreshing today and sent emails every time it came up and got NO responses...

m2c: Are you getting rained down on with ash right now? My sister said it was horrible, but she left for my folks in SF this week to get away. Also, she got laid off from the job right near you... moving to NYC again.

who ever posted about it: My ticket, if I get it, is a normal regular ticket... I'd get my roommate to grab someone elses ticket to get stamped so I could get up there too...

I just don't want to be "that guy" standing myself, drunk, when I know like 25-30 people sitting in random areas around the stadium.

Life was so much simpler as a student.

NYM: Oh yeah. It's AWESOME here! I haven't seen sky in about a week...unless it's brown....also, the moon is a nice reddish/orange tint. And breathing is fun too..... As for ash, I have actually not stepped outside my apartment today so I missed any ash rain. It's a scary thing to see actual red flames from your apartment though, that much I can tell you.

As for lay offs, everyone in the ent. industry is/has been getting laid off. Also, I saw the fall sched today and I swear to all that is holy that NBC must have a death wish so they won't be hiring anytime soon.
