i still get excited for Summer. Getting off on Fridays at noon is much better than 5:30 on Friday in the dead of winter.

I remember how we'd spend all day hanging out at the pool...or riding go-karts...or blasting music and hanging out and shit. Build forts, go fishing, etc. Prowl around the neighborhood after dark. Gawk at all the people in front of the neighborhood whore's house. You know, fun cool shit.

Sounds about right. I never made it out on a kayak or canoe, never hit up lake johnson pool, and didn't go to the beach.

I think the 2.5 weeks out west makes up for some of that though
