personality?

I sleep in the freefall position. Except I always have one legs hitched up like Captain Morgan.

Quote :
"Fetal Position (41%) Curled up on your side, holding the pillow. The most popular sleeping position, this one was favored by 51% of the women in the study. The personality of these sleepers tends to be shy and sensitive, though they may present a tough exterior to the world.

Soldier Position (8%) Flat on your back with arms at your sides. Indicates a quiet and reserved personality who sets high standards.

Starfish Position (5%) Lying on your back with arms and legs outstretched. Indicates a good listener who makes friends easily, but prefers not to be the center of attention.

Freefall Position (7%) Flat on your stomach with arms at the head or ears. Indicates a brash and gregarious exterior who may inwardly be nervous and sensitive to criticism.

Log Position (15%) On your side with legs outstretched and arms at your sides. Indicates a social, easygoing personality.

Yearner Position (13%) Similar to the log, but with arms outstretched. Said to indicate a suspicious and cynical personality"

I think it's pretty much dead on for me and my personality.

Note: These are apparently the most common sleeping positions, so not all of them will be on here.

Upon further googleing I found that sleeping on your stomach is really bad for you and it's from habit of when you were a baby....interesting.

I am a mix between the Starfish and the Fetal position. The personality traits do not fit for me...

I usually fall asleep in the fetus or yearner but wake up in the soldier or starfish (or combination of two). WTH does that mean? multiple personalities? difference between subconscious and conscious? studies like this are pretty much like horoscopes?

i used to sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs. my dorm bed freshman year was so uncomfortable that i could only fall asleep in soldier position, and i've slept that way ever since.. personality doesn't match

Primarily Fetal Position, but also some Yearner Position and Soldier Position (but with the Captain Morgan).

Personality traits are fairly accurate: though for Fetal Position, I'm not as shy as I used to be; for Soldier Position, at times I'm not as quiet and reserved as I should be; and for Yearner Position, I'm usually pretty suspicious, but not always cynical.

I fall asleep in the Fetal position, and wake up in either the Fetal, Yearner, or Soldier position.

I'm in between log and yearner...which honestly describes me pretty spot-on. Interesting.

The upper half of my body says Yearner.
The lower half says Free Faller.
Weird twist in the middle.
Sometimes I stick a pillow or a woman under the top leg to raise it up a little.

Interesting. I'm a hybrid here myself. Most of my body says Freefall, though I have a slight twist to one side upstairs kind of like the Yearner. Pretty spot on.

Wow. My life sucks.

I lay on my back and interlock my fingers across my chest to keep the from curling up when I'm asleep. I look somewhat dead.

INTERPRET THAT

Somewhere between a mix of fetus, starfish and captain morgan, personality traits is all kinds of wrong. Big difference is if I made it to the gym and if someone is in the bed with me

I flip flop between Foetus (with a second pillow that I curl up around) and a half-Starfish/half-Soldier (one arm under the pillow and the other by my side)

Same as I posted in the other thread

Quote :
"Free faller, except one arm is under the pillow supporting my head.

Except when it's really hot in my non AC house, then I get rid of all the covers and spread out in a Starfish."

But now it's a mix between freefaller and yearner
