i mean if you floss, you knock the shit loose, and brushing would rinse it away

at the dentist, they clean your teeth and then they floss. i say - go with how the dentists do it.

^^ right which is what I thought... Plus I do the whole rinse with listerine after flossing...

I would think that brushing would remove most large particles that could interfere with flossing, and then flossing obviously gets the remaining stuff. Rinsing gets it out of your mouth.

i usually brush then floss

i never really thought about it. i guess i just do it the way the do at the dentist. my flosser has one of those picky things on the other end so i can do that, brush, floss. then i rinse with mouthwash.

honestly after thumper said it i wanted to comment. but i seem to remember getting flossed pretty early in the cleaning. definitely not after they do the grindy thing
