I am thinking of an old myth I heard about once (cant remember the nation or people of origin)

At the beginning of time humanity chose the way of the mind over the way of the heart, and in the future (maybe 2012?) will have a chance to change paths

I also remember something about the two paths being represented by birds in flight, and that these two birds can one day fly together again

I know its a long shot but maybe it will ring a bell for someone and they can point me in the right direction...its a hell of a thing to try and find on google, and I'm terrible at googling anyways
