I thought adults just played co-ed softball. I mean, if kickball makes you happy I'm not going to knock it, but it just doesn't seem like it would not be all that fun with adults since everyone has the strength and motor skills to crush the ball every time.

You would be really, really surprised.

Also, the adults who are quick and have good motor skills are also good at blocking grounders from making it to the outfield and catching the flys that do make it. Adults can cover the outfield a lot better than you could when you were 9. "Crushing" it is a good way to have some guy catch it for the out.

you said a majority of what i did, the older the person the worse they seem, i.e they are slow running to the base, or kick to the outfield and it gets caught

yeah, kickball is summer only here, it's damn near time for dodgeball to start up.

week after next actually, but it's indoors so there's more ample time to lube up first

they made the mistake of doing a co-ed game the first year.

Slave, they do have it in CLT - my team plays in a Thursday night league at Park Road Park. I know they have leagues on Sun-Thurs nights, but some play in different places.

for all those knocking it - I made fun of it when I first heard about it, but now I'm playing in my third season and love it - its a great way to have some fun, maybe even a little exercise...without having to deal with all the douches of adult softball.
