We were going to go to Busch Gardens but now I guess we're not so I thought - where do the cool people on TWW go for Halloween?

Busch Gardens during Halloween is awesome.

I'm co-hosting a party in Kyoto. Should be fun if my co-host doesn't fuck things up.

I won't lie, one reason I want to have kids is so I have an excuse to go Trick-or-Treating again.

Probably going to Franklin street. After their efforts last year to downsize it somewhat (it'll still probably the be the largest halloween event around) there was a much higher percentage of folks actually wearing costumes rather than just showing up to show up.

You know... I was thinking about just wondering up and down Hillsborough St. How is that on Halloween? I did Franklin St years ago and wasn't impressed (but maybe because I couldn't drink due to my age). Thoughts?

My friend is having a Halloween Party on Friday night and her parties never end till 3 in the morning anyway, so we will be celebrating on Halloween. Then the next night she is taking her son out to Trick or Treat and then going out with the rest of us to the bar afterwards. Hopefully NCSU vs FSU is ABC 3:30, so that I don't miss the game. It's going to suck if it's a night game.

I always have a good time on my Hillsborough hikes. I like it better than Franklin because it isn't quite as crowded, its close to home, there are tons of people I know, and I don't have to hang out with UNC fags

We are having a party at our place, but I was thinking Hillsborough St.

Part of me says I'm getting too old to go traipsing around with a bunch of college-aged kids.

The other part of me says women in slut costumes.

What do you think Hillsboro is going to be like this year with all the streets tore up?

Any chance they will close it down?

Halloween is a solitary and spiritual holiday for me.

I traditionally observe the entire month of October by meditating over horror movies approximately 16 hours a day.

However, I will be without cable this October, and I'm unsure how to proceed. Perhaps this year will help me adjust my spiritual practices for next year when my meditation will undoubtedly be cut back by this thing called "work."

I'll probably just hide in the bushes and throw rocks at kids though.
