... from outside the stadium. Just for a little while, though. If I just walked over there, how close do you think I could get before they bitched at me for not having a ticket? Think I could see the stage setup from anywhere?

And fuck not being able to drink in the stadium. It's not college sports, people, it's a concert. Would it really tarnish the image of the stadium that badly? Besides, you're gonna need a few to tolerate a whole U2 concert.

well, yeah, I figured that much... was just wondering if I would get harassed if I was chillin' in the parking lot with a beer.

I really don't care at all about U2, but I'm pretty impressed with the whole stage setup they have going.

There is an escrow account to put new turf down after the concert as they expect to fuck up the field.

"Following the performance, Live Nation Global – the concert promoter – will replace the Carter-Finley turf at their own expense, returning the field to ideal playing conditions in advance of NC State’s home matchup with Duke on Oct. 10. Concerns about potential issues with the turf were alleviated through careful planning and consultation with Live Nation executives, as well as NC State agronomics experts and the football coaches and staff."
