Anyone know of a way I can post an ad in multiple cities without getting them deleted? I thought I figured out a method by just using a different e-mail address for each ad, but they only stayed up for about a day. Any tips or tricks you can suggest?

change around the text significantly...don't use the same title, don't use the same paragraphs in the same order, etc

Yeah, I thought about that, but I am trying to post the ad in about 10 cities. Changing the ad each time would be a shit ton of work. But that's what I'll do if I have to.

i can't think of any other way around it (and even then it's a toss-up)...you're going to need to do different email addresses (since i think that's the first way the check for duplicates) and then you're going to need content that's different enough not to be matched on too many points

*shrug*

Yeah, I already created 10 new e-mail addresses when I posted the first time, and got all the ads to go through. Then this morning I woke up and all of them were deleted.

try using spamgourmet.com

that makes it a lot easier to have multiple email addresses so you don't have to create a new one each time

Well I guess I have another question then. I am trying to sell that expensive ass truck I have in Classifieds. Anyone know of any other CL type websites that I can post it on for free and hit pretty much all of NC?

yes, craigslist ads are hashed. djeternal - edit the ad very slightly and then post it again.

You can forget about craigslist. They have finally caught up on spamming cities.

Your best bet is something like planet-trucks.com, though I dont know if its free. Free listings arent going to get this sold.

If your friend is serious about selling it, I have a contact in Summerfield who buys and sells this kind of equipment all day, he would definitely be able to move it (but he's probably going to take a 20% cut to do it).

you're asking over $40k. pony up the $20 for a 3 week ad in the carolina bargain trader. better yet, spend $65 and they'll put it on the front page for a week. i'd bet it'll sell.

He already has it listed in several paid ads and hasn't gotten very many hits on it. I was just trying to help expand the visibility of it to those that might not pay for a truck trader type magazine.
