im pretty legit with most girls

however a good friend of mine was having some serious conflicts with a girl we knew. i didnt know the girl in question beyond just knowing her name and what she looks like. when i would run into her at social functions i would ignore her.

my friendship with her was more important than befriending this person of conflict. and she's always been a legit true friend to me.

b/c the one "code" i was taught and that i think women should adhere to as women, is if a woman offers another woman support during a dark hour...you don't throw that person under the bus when the things start to look better.

i tend to measure my friendships with girls the following way

1. have they ever made the effort to come visit me since i moved from nc? (or any other state i met them in)
2. do they make an effort to see me when i'm in the same town as them?

that makes about 4-5 for me

i had 2 friends come visit when i lived in fucking KANSAS

and i've had 3-4 visit me here in houston

i've gone to visit friends in sacramento, chicago, charlotte, switzerland and denver

i dont live in the most glamorous location but i have 'friends' who can't even be bothered to carve out the ONE NIGHT i am free while im in nc to see me. so, fuck em

except for sacramento, the rest of those places are pretty good times.

That is all kinds of fucked up that people cant find time to see you while you're in town though, especially if it's a repeated thing. It happens to me too coming back to Raleigh, but I'm here fairly regularly so by now all my friends know they'll catch me again soon if we don't see each other one time.
